Don’t Forget Ed!
Don’t Forget Ed is a national grassroots movement that is driven by one goal: to demand that the presidential candidates make education a priority issue in the 2012 campaign. It is a completely nonpartisan effort and it doesn’t advocate for a particular candidate, political party, or education platform.
Education is critical to America’s future. Other nations are investing heavily in their education systems; we need to do the same. Political pundits insist that the 2012 campaign will be about the economy in general and jobs in particular. But education is at the heart of our jobs crisis, our health care challenges, and our national security. Without improving education – and listening to what students have to say – it will be difficult to address all the other challenges our country is facing.
You have an important role to play in our country’s future and we need your voices need to be heard. This is an issue that impacts each and every one of us. Join us by tweeting to the candidates, following us on Facebook, and signing our petition. Together we can make sure that this presidential election we #dontforgeted.
